I can't hear sound in the right ear of my logitech USB headset.?

I've tried it on other software so that's not the problem. I've also checked the audio properties and everything seems fine there. There also doesn't appear to be any problems with the wire. I've had it for about a year I think so can anyone help?

make sure the plug is fully pushed into the socket.

Check the cable is not damaget up by the headset, it may have been pulled too hard.
