Question:

I can't hold it in anymore?

I'm sixteen years old. I feel like I have no one to talk to. I'll say many things about physics and computers. I will talk about ways to use cars without energy and roads using holograms. But people don't seem to like what I have to say. My dad told me I belong in a "mental institution" after a science talk. My peers ignore me. The teachers don't know how to respond.

Talking about celebrities and the weather is like watching grass grow to me!

I don't know how to cope with this. If you have any advice, I'm eager to hear it.

  1. Ignore all the comments. One day you're going to be so extremely successful. Look into Universities and Colleges in your area and the courses they offer.

You sound extremely intelligent. What you're interested in doesn't interest me, but there are people out there who are your age who are interested.

I live in New Zealand we have what are called 'Geek Camps' where schools select students who excel in science and maths. See if your area offers anything like that. It might be good to meet new people who share your interests.

    Good luck!
