I can't make a capital "t" when typing on my mac

Question

I have a macbook and I just noticed that when typing I can't make a capital "t". Obviously I can do other capitals and I can make lower case t's but when I try to make a capital t by holding the shift button down nothing happens. It's kind of annoying because I can't start sentences with any words that start with "t". Any ideas?
