I can't open 'Sims 2 Open for business'?

Question

well i bought the 'open for business' but when i try to start it up it says i need to put in the sims pets (which i bought before) but when i do it then says to put in open for business and the circle never ends help?

make sue your putting the game in dvd drive, that may be the problem. Try it out if its not already, otherwise check out  this site, and e-mail someone from the team. I have and they are really helpful and quick to answer! :)

I know that you are supposed to try to install them in the right order, so I would try unistalling them and re-installing in the correct order. Hopefully that should fix it. Also don't forget that some of the games are on DVD format, not CDs, so if you have an old computer and DVDs it may not be reading it for that reason. Anyway, hope it helps :-)

Do you have any other games that were released after pets? If you have pets installed you should be running your game with that disc because it was released after OFB. I'm not sure why it's telling you to insert the OFB disc when you put the pets disc in, but it should never tell you to that. You always run your sims games with the latest game released that you have. In your case it's the sims 2 pets. The only thing I can think of is downloading a fixed .exe file for pets from http://gamecopyworld.com/ and replacing the original.

scroll to the last file archive. Download it and then extract the zip file contents. Go to My Computer/C:/Program Files/EA Games/The Sims 2 Pets/TSBin and replace the .exe file in there with the one you downloaded. Good Luck
