I can't play DVD's on my laptop

Question

They used to work fine but now they freeze and play really slowly. I have tried on both Windows Player and Intervideo.

I have Mcafee Anti Virus and it doesn't seen to be picking anything up.

Any other ideas pls? I would be grateful.

what may be happenig is the memory RAM very low or you have to many programs running at the same time what you can do is

win xp user : go to START click on RUN and type MSCONFIG  go to the STARTUP tab and remove some programs like java, and other but antivirus and win32 files and restat la pc
