I can't play wma in my psp. what happen?

the first time i bought my psp, i can play wma or enable or disable wma playback but when i restore the original settings of my psp (restore factory settings), wma format is not playable. when i try enabling wma in system settings, it ses in order to enable wma playback it needs to connect to the internet.. stuff like that.. can someone help me with this? tnx

you might of accidentally taken out a chip or changed the settings.
