I can't recieve calls on my 02 mobile!?

I had one of those free SIM cards sent to me in the post from 02. I put it in my phone it connected to 02 and I received the settings for WAP. But when my friend tried calling me last night he couldn't! He sent a text after trying to call me saying that he got the message, "It has not been possible to connect you call, please try again later". What's going on! Does anyone else have the same problem?

I'd need to know a few other things.  First - is yours the ONLY number to which he's having problems making a call?  If there are others, are they with the same carrier as your cell phone?  He needs to try to call other people from other carriers; that should tell him (and you) if the problem is with your carrier (if you're the only one having problems), his carrier (if he has problems calling others on different carriers as well), or your phone (if he can call others with your carrier, but not you).  

Once you have that part narrowed down, contact your carrier if it IS your carrier's problem, and make sure the SIM is showing up properly on their network.  If it's there, then it's possible that the SIM itself is defective or damaged, and you may simply need to get another.
