I can't remember the name of this book. help me?

Question

the book i can't remember the name of is about a husky who is sold to exploration company and is beaten and starved. he ends up running away with the wolves.

this is my favorite book of all time but it had me in floods of tears the first time i read it so i want to read it again.

i think the author was jack ............

The author is Jack London and the book is White Fang, I read it a school MANY MANY years ago I loved it, a great adventure

that is call of the wild by jack london.

his other very famous book is whitefang, the exact opposite, where a wolf becomes domesticated, also  very good read
