Hello I can't remember what this book is called. Its about a bunch of rabbits who migrated from their home to another where they were all fat and lived good but every now and again one would be killed off. The trappers would take one and the migrates tried to like convince them it was bad or something. I remember they wrote something about songs or poems about it to? It was a pretty long book. I googled it and couldn't find anything HELP!!!

  1. It sounds similar to "Watership Down" by Richard Adams. There was a rabbit warren in the book that had that exact situation.  I can't remember the name of the warren, but the main characters were rabbits called Hazel, Fiver, Bigwig, and General Woundwort from the Efrafa warren...

The author also invented a sort of rabbit mythology, so the songs and poems seem right.

If that isn't the book you were thinking of, read it anyway. It is wonderful!

  2. Did the book include anything like a black river of death with monsters on it? (A road) Because it sounds a lot like Watership Down, if it did then it is probably Watership Down.
