I can't remember two movie titles?

Question

The first is an older movie. It's about a white boy, who goes to live with this man at a concentration camp type place for black people. There he learns to box and grows up to be a boxer. I havent seen it in a long time but can anyone tell me the name of the movie.

The second movie is about a school, I think it's a boarding school, that is taken over by bad guys, holding them for ransom and these kids try and escape and rescue the school. I can't really remember much else.

The first one is definitely The Power of One.  I own it cuz it's one of my favorites of all time.

The other sounds like Toy Soldiers.
