I can't save or even see videos written on DVD-RW from my sony dcr-dvd755e?

i'm using my imac with windows vista n i can't see videos which were recorded on a DVD-RW using my camcorder (sony dcr-dvd755e) =(

  1. I do not have a Mac, but I had the same problem saving and editing my DVD files onto my PC. I found the solution with the Ulead Movie Factory editing software. However, I am not too sure there is a version for the Mac so I apologize if it does not help. All you do is open a new Video project, then you just "import video files from DVD", then save your project. This way you can edit and share your videos! I am pretty sure this will work with DVD RWs, but I never tried it, I had always been using DVD-RAMs, so that may be the problem as well (RAMS are more expensive, but are rewritable).

    Oh and I found that trying to upload camcorder DVD files from the USB cord was useless. I just pop them into the E-Drive. However, you may have better luck than me.

    Oh, and sometimes, with the DVD RWs, you must finalize them before viewing on the TV (but I'm not sure that's the case on the computer). You can do this right on your camcorder. Good luck!
