if you want to join a  freecycle group, you need to find them either by searching yahoo groups or on freecycle.org, then either (if you have a yahoo id) join by clicking on the page, or alternatively e-mail the group (should be a list of addresses at the bottom of the homepage, including one to subscribe) and follow the e-mailed instructions.
