I can't see the artist's name on my ipod.

Question

I copied a cd to my computer and then to my ipod. All of the artist and album information shows up on iTunes, but only the songs show up on my iPod. When I connect my iPod to the computer, I see all the information. On my iPod, I only see the song titles. It doesn't show up in artist or genre or album. What can I do?

Go on iTunes on the computer where all your songs and albums are stored. Check the Library and find the song you are looking for. Double clicking on each section column will allow you to type in the details of the genre, artist and album. To get the Album Artwork, right click on the song and click on "Get Album Artwork".

Alternatively, if you are lazy open the song on Windows Media Player, click on Library on the top column, find Now Playing on the left column and click on it. Right click the song and click on, depending "Find Album Details or Artwork" or "Update Album". It will search the best find for you and update it as well as an Album cover. However, you need the Album to be typed in and the artist.
