Question:

I can't seem to find a good translation that makes sense..(español)?

ok amigos.. i usually answer, but i need to ask this time, how would i say or get the point of 'I wear my heart on my sleeve" across. I am not sure that the translations that I have come up with make much sense..

    This is a good way to put it in Spanish: 'ir con el corazón en la mano': 'Voy (or 'vengo', or 'estar') con el corazón en la mano'. See an example of the phrase here:

  4. You can say: "Voy con el corazon en la mano" or "Tengo el corazon en la mano"

  5. I think:

    "Llevo el corazón en la mano"

    I think you can not use "manga" because when we -hispanics- wear something in our sleeve is to "hide it" as "tengo un as bajo la manga".

    If you want to keep the sense of the phrase i strongly recommend you use "hand-mano" instead of sleeve.
