I download it from some site. After, there is an installation thing. You click it, and after a few seconds, the installation is done, so it says. After it says its done, I still can't find the Adobe Flash icon. Help, anyone?

  1. It will not create icon or something, it just places the activeX plugin (.ocx file) in %systemroo%\sytem32 and some other modifications to registry. You can view your flash objects in your internet browser now.

  2. Only download items from their original sites:

    http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/download/...

What icon are you looking for?

Flash is usually used by your browser (like Internet Explorer or Firerfox) to show content or games etc used

Not sure what an icon would do for you.  After the install you should see a display on the Adobe page that you can't see before.

  3. The same exact thing is happening to me!!!  I will keep an eye on your question. I would like to know what to do also.

  4. Hey Raf, try going into the "start" menu on the bottom left hand corner of the screen. Go to "search" and search all your files for it. In the space that asks you what to search for, type in Adobe, or somehing like that. Search all files and your cpu should pull it up. When it finds it, right click and "create shorcut". That will put an icon on the screen for you. Hope this helps friend.

  5. Everything is fine, there is no icon that appears after you install, but it is in your system and you should be fine
