I can't seem to lose weight?

Every time I go on a diet I lose absolutely no weight. I have cut 500 calories a day out of my diet, and have started walking a half hour or more a day and lifting weights about ten minutes a day. I drink over 64 oz. of water a day. It's been a few weeks and I've still only lost 2 lbs, which was probably water weight. My Doctor says I have no thyroid problems, and said I should run instead of walk. Honestly, shouldn't just changing from sitting on the couch to my new habits make me lose SOME weight? Do you think I should ask about a prescription drug?

How to Brew a Cup of Green Tea

Producing the perfect cup of green tea is a tricky process. If not handled properly, those same polyphenols that provide health benefits can ruin the flavor, making the tea taste "gassy." It's particularly important not to overbrew. While it's best to follow the manufacturer's instructions for each variety of green tea, here are some general instructions:

Use one tea bag, or 2 - 4 grams of tea,* per cup.

Fill a kettle with cold water and bring to a boil.

After unplugging the kettle, allow it to stand for up to 3 minutes.

Pour the heated water over the tea bag or tea, and allow it to steep for up to 3 minutes. If using a tea bag, remove the bag.

Allow the tea to cool for three more minutes.

*One to two teaspoons, depending on the variety of green tea you are brewing.

  2. You are lifting weights so you are building muscle whichs weighs more. A more accurate way to know if what you are doing is successful is to measure yourself in inches everywhere. The scale will only discourage you if you are weight training. You're absolutely doing things the right way though, don't take any drugs and stick to it, I can guarantee if you measured your waist, hips, arms, thighs, buttocks... You would see a big difference in a short amount of time. Good luck!

  6. No you shouldn't, weight loss when done the right way takes a long time. Also weight lifting will build weight because of the fact muscles weighs more then fat
