Every time I go on a diet I lose absolutely no weight. I have cut 500 calories a day out of my diet, and have started walking a half hour or more a day and lifting weights about ten minutes a day. I drink over 64 oz. of water a day. It's been a few weeks and I've still only lost 2 lbs, which was probably water weight. My Doctor says I have no thyroid problems, and said I should run instead of walk. Honestly, shouldn't just changing from sitting on the couch to my new habits make me lose SOME weight? Do you think I should ask about a prescription drug?
