Question:

I can't seem to stay with one story!?

I cannot seem to keep going with one story! I keep getting ideas for new ones! I think I have only finished about 4 stories in my life and they were only about two pages each! At the moment I am writing two stories, one about a girl named Roxana who starts writing a murder story which strangely comes true and another about a girl named Jaymie who's friend was murdered and it tells about how.

Any ideas to get me to keep going with the same stories?

Or any other ideas I can add to those stories?

Thanks!

  1. All authors have to push themselves to finish there stories. It would be best to try to dedicate a certain amount of time to your stories each day. If it helps, you could start a journal for story ideas you come up with while your already working on one.

  2. if you want to write a long story,

try to put or kind of link together all the stories you have written.

those 2 both in volve murder so they can obviously be added together.

  3. Ha ha i got the same problem...

    Just stay determined...

  4. There's nothing to say that you can't move back and forth between writing different stories.  Just follow you muse!

  5. Well, try combining both of them. Roxana's best friends name could be Jaymie, and so Roxana used Jaymie as her main character in her story about the murder of Jaymies friend and it comes true.

  6. Try writing out the plot or a synopsis of the story before you write the actual story.

  7. Why don't you try combining them?

  8. just really dedicate yourself and any new ideas you might have, try and adapt those into your book and change it round a bit.
