I took a music file and used Audacity to edit it down to 30 seconds so I can use it as a ringtone. Then I inserted my mini memory card that fits in my phone (MOTO RAZR V3xx) and copied the file to the memory card. I opened the file on the phone and it played and I thought I did it all the right way. So I went to make this new file a ringtone and it didn't come up on the list of songs that are availavle as ringtones. I looked at the file I was trying to use and it said MP3...so then I looked at some of the other ringtones (one I bought) and they are MP4s. Do I need to convert this MP3 file to an MP4 or how do I make it a ringtone? I also tried saving it to my phone and that didn't work either. What am I doing wrong?
