I can't sign off aim.

i have aim version 5.9 and whenever i sign off, my screen name is still on other people's buddy list. my sister went on aim, and my sn is still on hers, even though i signed off. and it still keeps track of how long i've been on, even though i already signed off. what can i do?

i'm not too familar with AIM but i had the same problem with Yahoo messenger.  this is not on your end.  it is an issue with their servers.  in time it worked itself out for me.
