  1. try to do yoga and some excercise before u go to sleep

  2. wen i can't go to sleep I take a hot bath and sit and soak for a 15 or 20 mins and get in a cold room under alot of covers and I go strait to sleep. I bet it works for u. Try it!

  3. do yoga or some exersise while u work

  4. sleepy time tea...its a real tea and you can find it any any grocery store

  5. ..take a nice, long shower before going to bed,  then put on your most comfy sleeping clothes.

  6. im 15 and i take forever to go to sleep too. so i listen to my mp3 player to my favorite songs. then after a while i listen to boring songs..and that puts me into a sleepy mood. sometimes i get so sleepy i fall asleep with my headphones on! lol. and then my battery runs out...so dont do that lol.

you could also read a book. that puts the time away. i used to really be into the harry potter books. i read them for hours at night until i couldnt keep my eyes open anymore!

  7. tylenol pm

  8. Read a novel. Somehow it would make you sleep and improve your reading skills at the same time.

  9. tell me about it. im 15 and it takes me a good 1-2 hrs to fall asleep every night

  10. benadryl.  you won't be drowsy in the morning with it.  No tv/computer/etc. 1-2 hours before bed time.  Try mellowing out and reading.  Sometimes a glass of milk helps me.  Relax and breathe.  Take a shower.

  11. sorry, can't help you. your clock is turned around and might stay that way. don't fight it.

I worked 3rd shift for years and am a night owl. I do housework at night, write out bills at night, play games, talk to my sis (she is a night owl too) just about everything that can be done without sunlight and businesses being open. I even shop online at night :o)

  12. Tylenol pm, but its habit forming and the side effect is that you will hav a harder time sleeping the next night and you tend to wake up groggy.  Use it for a few days, then reduce the dose and ween off.

  13. my hubby works nights too and we have three kids that make a lot of noise so he just stays awake longer and that usually works...and ear plugs.

  14. benadryl is your best bet try a 25mg if it doesn't work a 50mg will do it

  15. Go to Longs, Wal-Mart, wherever you pick up your sundries and get some VALERIAN ROOT. You will never have trouble sleeping again!  They are a natural sleep and dream aid, and if you love dreams, you will LOVE this!  I take two, and it is good for my body weight (Big) and when I want to really zonk out, I take three.  Try one first, and see what happens, then increase if you feel comfortable.  It's a miracle aide!  And the dreams are incredible!  Try it, you'll like it.  It will take a bit to get used to it, so give it time.  Sweet Dreams!

  16. i would suggest getting calcium chew ables or drinking a glass of milk or 2 before you go to sleep!

  17. Another thing is to refrain from drinking caffeinated beverages, and/or coffee and tea AFTER that time mark.

Dimming the lights and reading a book while lying in bed, just before you intend to sleep, is also advisable.

Taking a warm bath/shower just before your bedtime should also help.

Turning off your mobile, TV, CD player/radio and other distractions, at bedtime.

You may also want to meditate for at least a couple of minutes by concentrating on your in and out breath.

Do not eat anything heavy 2-3 hours before your intended sleep time, and either have a vegetable soup, or a light snack instead.

Drinking lots of water throughout the day, will ease your system into relaxation and detoxification.

If you still toss and turn, then get up and do something around the house/room, and then try to sleep again minutes later.
