Question:

I can't sleep. Do I have sleeping troubles?

I've tried calm music

it doesn't work

I've tried reading

it doesn't work

I've tried warm milk

it doesn't work

I've tried the boring movie

it doesn't work

I've tried counting sheep

it doesn't work

I exercise a lot in the afternoon and i always go on a run at 8:00

I don't drink coffee, and I don't eat caffinated foods often. I'm a very laid back person, so I know its not stress. What could it be? I lie in bed for hours and just CAN'T sleep. Help me please!

  1. You are trying too hard to force yourself to go to sleep.  Let go of the worry and just enjoy the quiet time.

    If you are running at 8:00 at night, your body produces substances that will keep you awake and alert while you exercise.

    It could be that your body does not need as much sleep right now in your life.  Enjoy the moment.


  2. your brain isnt producing the proper amount of seratonin.  there are over the counter remedies you could try at first.  any "PM" pain relievers like tylenol pm, excedrin pm, etc.  if that doesnt work, go to your doctor and ask him/her for a couple of samples of seroquil.  lol.  that'll knock yer **** out and give you the best sleep you've had in years.  

    I cant sleep unless my entire house is pitch black and completely silent.  I even have my bedroom windows covered and taped so zero light seeps thru.

    just remember, it takes about a month to recondition yourself to a normal sleep pattern.

  3. I have the exact same problem but i DO HAVE ANXIETY!! UGH!! It is the worst!

    But you definately need to go c your doctor, trust me!! SLEEP IS SOOO GOOOD lol

    And honestly none of those things you listed will help you go to sleep! Trust me! YOu can try EVERYTHING! and Still nothing will help

  4. I would say u need to talk to your dr and he will give u something. tylonol pm or benadryll helps too!

  5. i think dha problem isz dhatt yuuh probaly sleep duringg dha dayy buhtt a wayy 2 go 2 sleep isz 2 jusz layy down stay still && dont move worksz everyytimee 4 meeh
