I can't sleep! Help?!?

Okay it's 4:30am and I cant sleep. I havent been sleeping good for the past 3 or 4 days and I dont know why. I never feel tired at night, only when I wake up in the morning because I hardly sleep, but then agian at night I feel wide awake. Even though I wasnt tired, I tried to sleep at around 3am. But now it's been half an hour and I've just been lying in bed looking at my ceiling! How can I fall asleep without taking pills or anything like that?

  2.   here are the some  tips for good sleep   * Go to bed only when you're sleepy.

        * If you can't sleep, get out of bed.

        * Use the bedroom only for sleeping (no reading, TV, etc.)

        * Get up at the same time every morning.

        * Don't nap.

        * Ease stress through meditation, progressive muscle relaxation, and other methods.

        * Challenge your beliefs about sleep (for instance, don't worry about sleep).

        * Curb bedroom light and noise.

        * Lead a healthy lifestyle.

Some people have to start around noon to be able to get to bed at a reasonable hour.  By that, I mean things like no caffeine after lunch,  plenty of exercise during the day, perhaps a hot bath before bed time.  Reading in bed is a help to lots of people.  Good luck to you.  I've had bouts of insomnia myself and I know how it feels.

  5. Go to church, sit at the very back and wait for the boring priest to make his sermon. Trust me, it gets me to sleep every time.

    joking aside, you should try to exercise more, ( I dunno how advisable it is to exercise before sleeping though). Also, I don't know about you, but using the computer or reading in beds works for me.
