i'm 14 years old, and latley at my grandmas house i cant sleep at night.

i usually go to bed anywhere from 11-2 p.m/a.m

i eat some sugar/ caffine, but that stuff has never affected my sleep.

i usually take long naps during the day, cause i get cranky, and i have nothing better to do to pass the time.

all this summer i've been sleeping well, but for a week or 2 i just cant fall asleep and i ALWAYS wake up everynight around 3 - 4 a.m and no matter what, i cant fall back asleep for at least an hour or usually longer.

its really annoying.

what can i do to sleep better, besides take any types of pills?

  1. My daughter was on risperdol, really strong med and it knocked her out. We wanted to get her off them so we are using Melatonin. IT is a supplement. Only take 1. Get the 3 mg w/o anything in it. Its not a drug. Look up other websites on it, you would be surprised how many people use it.........................

  2. Taking long naps during the day messes up your sleep cycle.

Naps should be no longer than 15-30 minutes.
