I can't sleep latly?

I am starting 8th grade but I need to sleep but I can't. I tried putting music on and listening to that! I need help! I really need to sleep I can't fall asleep till around 11 or 10:30! Please help! I really want to sleep!

  1. Try to get everything done by 1 hour before bedtime. For that one hour before you go to bed it is you-time. Relaxing, hot milky drink, finding nice book to read in bed - generally chilling out. When you do get to bed settle in with your book and read a few pages until your eyes are tired then light out, focus your thoughts on the nice book and put out of your mind any sneaking thoughts about the next day.   2. Lay in bed with a little background noise. STAY THERE. Even if you aren't tired. Read a book if you get bored waiting. Eventually your body will learn that it's time to go to bed, but it'll take a couple weeks of routine before it catches on.

    And don't obsess or worry about sleeping - it'll stress you out and then you WON'T be able to sleep.
