Question:

I can't sleep like I used to

Since like July I've been getting about 0-2 hours of sleep a night. I'm really tired and I was just wondering if anyone has any remedies or suggestions. I've tried intense excercise during the day, I've tried taking melatonin and benadryll (sp?) and I just can't get to sleep. I can't keep my legs still at night really, which makes me wonder if I have RLS.

Help me out please :)

  1. I know how you feel and when I read benadryll I saw the red flag.  You don't say your age.  Most young people need more sleep and we need less as we hit late 20's and up.  The benadryll is acting like any so-called sleep aid.  You body will start to depend on them.  I started them because my work schedule changed from late evenings to morning.  You should see a doctor so they can see what your individual problem is.  I am 44 and I only need 5-6 hours sleep a day.  If you are under 21 you may need as much as 7-9.  I hope I helped with my own experience.
