Question:

I can't sleep!!!!!? pz help!!!!!?

ok, ive asked this question before and none of the answers really helped. but i have to wake up very early at 5:00am for school and i dont want to fall asleep in class because i dont want to miss out on my lessons and plus ill be embarresed. usuallly when i cant sleep i take alka selzter nightime cold and that knocks me right out. but i ran out and i need sleep tonight. oh! and if i fall asleep and dont wake up until like evening like lets say around 5 or 6 maybe 7, is it possible to still sleep at night because today i woke up at like 5:39pm and everytime i wake up around evening its hard for me to sleep at night. help plz!!!!

  1. iyour body is used to this cycle for now.try changing your bedtime habits but do it gradually.take one hour at a time from the usual time you go to bed  and keep it up until your body gets used to it then your sleeping habits will be normal.also stop stressing!!! take deep breaths,meditate,drink a glass of warm milk or chamomile tea before bedtime,turn off the lights or cover your eyes,spray lavender on your sheets or read a book(not scary stories).also dont drink pop/soda,coffee hours before you go to bed.caffeine revs you up.

First off, never drink anything with caffeine in it after 2 pm.  Try not to eat after 6 pm.  Drink plenty of water and try some relaxing music or sound scapes as you drift off.  Try to be relaxed before you go to sleep.  Try  not to focus too much on the "tomorrow" as it will only cause you to keep waking up.  If you wake up in the night on a regular basis, maybe you should try the breathe rite strips or get tested for sleep apnea.  Good luck!
