I've been at this new job since last thursday and I am only getting about 1 hour of sleep a day, except for one day when I slept about 6 hours. I cannot sleep during the day and I think it's because the job has me so depressed because I miss out on the day time.

I don't know how much longer I can do this... It's really making me depressed and I feel like I'm in h**l. how much longer should I do this? Will missing out on this much sleep seriously s***w me up or what?

:(

oh and I already know the tips on preparing your room and all that for daytime sleeping. I've done it all..

  1. Maybe you should consider looking for a daytime job.

But what helps me fall asleep is exercise. Walk/jog/run 30 minutes a day. Thats helps with depression as well.

    Here are some other tips

  2. Well since your already up, go job searching!

  3. A half hour before you leave work/get home take a Tylenol PM. When you get home you will crash and probably stay crashed. The economy is bad right now, suck it up and do what you gotta do until you find something better. If it doesn't work the first time take two and get in a routine with your sleep.

  4. i would get out of the job as quick as you can and find a daytime one.
