1. Well, you already mentioned this, but milk is really bad for your health. When I turned vegan, I barely craved dairy, but what I did crave was chocolate, and the only thing that stopped me from eating it was its poor nutritional value.

If you're doing this for health, like I did, you can just think about that every time you're about to eat something with dairy.

Also, water helps to get rid of cravings, so keep a bottle of water by your side throughout the entire day. Oh, and water is healthy! =]

  2. Could ask a guy to feed you a dairy supplement out of a rubber hose.

  3. soy milk soy icecreams

  4. your probably craving dairy because your not getting enough calcium

so either eat other calcium rich foods, or use dary altrernatives, live soy or rice milk and soy ice cream, etc.

  5. your body will crave foods it knows has nutrients that you need... you might be calcium deficient. do you take a multi vitamin? or eat other foods and lots of fruits and veggies to make up for the animal products. how about soy milk? or the soy versions of products?

  6. Vanilla soymilk

  7. First off, make sure you're getting all the nutrition you need. Like the others said, your body is going to crave things it needs. Take care of that first.

Secondly, chill out. I was seriously like addicted to milk. Some say it does break down in your system to form a opiate-like drug, but I don't know how much of that is true.

But anyways I was probably close to a gallon a week. I would try to cut it off, and get like these insane cravings for it. I tried all sorts of milk-substitutes, but they all tasted terrible in comparison. So I went back to drinking organic milk.

A year or so later, without stressing or even thinking much about it, I've cut out milk naturally. It just doesn't appeal to me. I drink chocolate soy milk and it's tasty. Give it a shot, and try different brands as they do have different tastes. I don't crave milk anymore.

So just make sure you get your nutrients, and indulge in some chocolate soymilk. And just chill out, don't make it seem all big. You want a glass of milk? No biggie. If you freak out over it, that glass seems a lot better.

I will say that one thing that keeps me from milk is just thinking about where it comes from, what it is. It's just unappetizing.

Note: How is the EFT going for you?

  8. Drink a non dairy beverage that tastes like it.

  9. there are so many vegan products now. there is fake cheese, milk, sour cream, etc. you just have to find a store that sells it. and a plus is it tastes great too!

  10. Dairy products are like eating and drinking cow saliva, imagine the milk coming from a cow with puss oozing out of its eyes and it having crust matted eyelashes. Watch the Meatrix(Google it) you will never want to eat again.

  11. you need milk for your bones

    dont be silly

  12. What the world needs now, is love, sweet love! It's the only thing that there's just, too little of.

I just want to say something to Lola (the poster below me): Milk does not help with osteoporosis, or with brittle bones. This has been proven by Harvard, Yale and the National Institutes of health. The milk industry's propaganda has clouded your brain. Broccoli, with sprinkled lemon juice is an excellent source of calcium.

  13. milk is not terrible for the health it helps your bones grow strong and it makes your teeth healthy sooooo dont worry about it

  14. There's no reason denying yourself something if you really want it, that will just make a person irritable and hard to deal with. Milk isn't inherently bad for, but a lot of the things that wind up in milk from factory farming practices are (hormones, antibiotics, blood/pus, what-have-you).

Try an organic milk like Horizon or one from a local family farm. Or you can always try Silk or goat's milk. If you have a Whole Foods in your area, they probably have Certified Humane Raised and Handled dairy products.
