  1. The first thing I would do is realize that everyone makes mistakes, its part of being human.  People do stupid things that we regret sometimes.  Its all a part of growing and maturing.  Just admit you did what you did and try to learn from them instead of repeating them.  Its hard to answer though without knowing details, but if its not serious and your still pretty young, just think of it as a learning experience.

  2. Trite as it sounds, time is the best healer.  There is no set amount of time laid out for grieving or hurting.  Some people can feel better within days of a breakup or betrayal, some people need years.  Try to take pleasure in small things everyday; treat yourself to new shoes, buy flowers, take a long walk with your iPod and just zone out.  Eventually you will start to forgive yourself.

Now, not to be too heavy, but have you considered speaking to a GP?  If your crying is confined to certain times within a month, it may be symptoms of PMDD (similar to severe PMS).  Your GP can help you.  It may also be a sign that you need some counseling or therapy.  Get a referral from your GP.

I sincerely wish you luck in getting better.

  3. it helps if you talk about whatever it is with whoever it concerns. sometimes you need to know its been forgiven and accepted. after that, its all you. try not to dwell on it. its okay to never let go, but then it only gets harder/

  4. pretend it never happened
