I have lost some files in my recycle bin so I decided to do a system restore. But whenever I try to do one it says "Windows has detected file system corruption" on my disk and "You must check the disk for errors before it can be restored" Then I click "Check the disk for errors" and when I try to click start on the disk check it says "Windows can't check the disk while it's in use, do you want to check for hard disk errors the next time you start your computer?" Then when I click "Schedule disk check" nothing happens, even if I

restart my laptop.

I am using Windows Vista.
