I can't think of this word that means something like "multi-sensory" teaching?

Basically, I am trying to say that when teaching a computer class, one can implement sort of multi-sensory learning, in that the student is learning by seeing, hearing and doing at the same time. I am pretty sure the word starts with an A. Can you help me?
