I can't trust anybody,

I have no one to talk to about any of my problems. I used to cut myself but I haven't in about a month. A lot of stuff has happened to my family this year and I have lost my three best friends. I attemped suicide once by hanging myself, but I stopped at the last second and passed out. I have no idea who I can tell these things to because I don't feel like I can trust anyone. Please help me.

  1. I have mental health issues myself. About 7 years ago I was going through a lot of changes. It got to where I couldn't handle it anymore. There's this organization called NAMI, (National Alliance for the Mentally Ill.) They offer support groups and maybe they could give you some tips on some issues and help you find a local therapist. Where do you live? There should be a local NAMI near by. Try searching online or in the phone book.

  4. Coming from someone who is exactly in the same situation as you are, I have to say that the only way to be able to trust someone is to find someone and build up a relationship. It may hurt a lot, given your circumstance of losing three friends, but that is the only way to trust someone. Take a good look at your friends, and decide who you consider close to best-friend status. Be careful with family members who don't know about your problems, as they can be the absolutely most hurtful people in your life, like they are mine once they figured out about my problems. I would also recommend trying depression madication if you haven't already. I've heard (though I've never tried it myself, but will be looking into) that it is very helpful.

    If you don't feel like anything I've said would work for you, I have made many friends from the internet who felt more comfortable expressing their problems anonymously to someone they technically don't know, so, my door is always open.   5. you could be suffering from depression. you might want to first start by getting something you can write your personal thoughts. Second try social interactions or try an online game so you can talk to people. third calm down step back and look around. Think of what your life could hold. Life is never should be wasted.now try to relax.  

  6. Honestly my friend, you have come to the wrong place to ask that question. For every positive response you may get 100 negative ones.

    Trusting another person in your situation may take time and i would recommend finding professionl help instead of someone in yahoo.

    Not to disrespect those who have been in similar situations and most likely has true concerns I would find a professional.

  7. I'm going through like the same exact thing. If you want you can email me.I don't know you. I'm im not gonna tell anyone. I know it's hard to talk to people you know. i cant trust anybody either. Not even my ****** mom.

  8. How bout a school counselor? A lot of people might not like talking them but they are there to help but if you have your mom around then maybe you should try and turn to her for some help.

    ^A great place, I'd suggest looking at the sunday secrets, then trying out the forums. They're all very nice helpful people, a lot of them who can probably relate to your problems more than most folks on yahoo answers : P.

  12. Try getting a piczo or a youtube and you'll find some people to talk to .Also I would try therapy.

  15. you can trust your doctor, you can talk to him- this feeling can be helped with medication. you can also talk to the suicide hot line. but i really think the most important place to start is with your doctor. he is the one who can get you on the medication that you need, and he is the one who can refer you to the right kind of therapist. please get some professional help for your problem-thats what the doctors are for.
