I can't understand how to install my base for infant seat.?

Question

I have a 2008 Chevy Malibu & a Baby Trend base for the infant seat. I put the base in last weekend. I clipped the 2 clips to the anchors in the seat (in the middle). It still moves a little side to side near the front of the base.

So I need to do anything else to secure it?

Owners manuals make this seem like a 432 step process.

Try this site, it is sometimes very helpful and if you have any other issues you can take the vehicle and the car seat to any fire department or police department in your hometown and they will help you free of charge...........

can take to your local police station and they will install for you or show you how....they will here in Ohio..
