I can't wait for school to start, I'm so bored.

Question

I'm so bored. I can't wait for school start. It seems like the days drag on, and it's taking forever for September to get here. I don't know what to do with myself. I'm no longer interested in sitting on the computer and talking to my friends. Most of them are busy in the first place. I'm honestly considering picking up an SAT prep book and reading it so I can be ready for the SAT. I feel like I'm going insane.

Are you guys excited for school? What do you guys do to pass the time quickly?

If you don't want to leave the house, then read a book and study for the SAT.  If you want to leave the house, consider finding a place where you can do volunteer work.  It looks great on a college application.  =)

Same here! I have been volunteering though so I am occupied 5/7 days in the week. You can easily lose your mind without having anything to do, no one to see.Last week I decided to type up a bunch of French notes that I had saved from the school year. Quite pathetic. Although SAT prep sounds fun I would consider going out with friends or plan a get together. As much as the days drag on for school to start there are only two months of summer vacation and nearly 10 months of school, seize the day! Hope you find a fun boredom buster.

I feel you, man.

This must be the longest summer ever for me.

My entire life, I've been involved in countless sleep away camps, clubs, and drama programs to pass the time. This year, however, I found myself at the age where I was too old for most of my activities. Besides marching practice and drama camp, my June and July was filled to the brim with boredness.

An SAT book is actually a good idea. Too bad I didn't think of that sooner.

Well I'm getting tutored instead of going to actual school, and I'm dreading it. I really, really dislike school. I get good grades, but ughh it's just no fun at all. The SAT book thing is a good idea! Never too early to start preparing!
