I can't walk on the heels of my feet. What muscles do I need to strengthen to rectify this?

  1. What you have described sounds like your hamstrings & Achilles tendons.  You will want to slowly &gently do stretches that relax those areas before you begin any muscles building actives.  Doing so will increase your ankle flexibility & decrease the likelihood that you will have an injury.
