I can't write - any suggestions on how to stir creative juices?

actually, i'm a writer by profession and i'm supposed to write about heavy lift cargo... i just can't find the 'inspiration' to write about such a (yawn) topic.

Just start typing. Don't even think of beginning to the story yet. Get some words on "paper," as they said in the pre-computer days.

You'll be surprised what comes up. Then, go back and edit, edit, edit.

you can't just force yourself to write... try to find your inspiration and find something interesting on the topic you want to write about, that'll give you a head start
