I can Ollie okay, But I have this one problem... For Some Reason, I always turn 45 - 90 degrees if I do a flatland ollie. I am trying to learn to Pop Shove it, kickflip, etc. but I can't because of this. Any advice?

  1. Same problem with my kickflip! Well I don't turn 90 degrees but the board does. Do you do that when your standing still or while moving? My advise to ollies or any tricks are to ask your friends while your at their house or they are at yours to teach you and do what they do.  Also watch vids at You tube and copy them. Keep the middle of your back foot on the middle of the board cause if it's anywhere else the board will turn when you pop.  Keep your shoulders parallel to the board and if you just trying to ollie don't wind up your arms, cause that's what you would do if you if you want to 180 ollie. Well that's all I can sugest. Good luck at your ollies.

  2. try keeping your shoulders squared up cause thats prob why you're turning

  3. work on them more, keep your shoulders straight, and mentally visualize yourself going straight. try to skate on a line and ollie and keep on that line. it's a mental battle too. i know it sounds weird but sometimes i look at a gap and think scientifically there's no way i can do it, but i get it through my head i can float over it and then i do it.
