Question:

I can almost do the splits.....?

im like 5-10 cm from the ground but i cant go any further... some good stretches? or anything but i really wanna do it and i will try to stretch a lot now (school holidays) so um any ideas?

  1. Well being able to do the splits takes time and a lot of practice. The fact that people are able to do the splits r not that their leg joint can move is flexible but their tendon. Their is a tendon on the muscle on the back of ur leg that is tyed to the tail bone. Be able to do the splits means to extend the tendon making it more malleable. A good stretch is to just do the splits position and hold it for five minutes and then rest for a while then do the same thing over and over again. Then try doing the same thing except with the other split position when a leg is in the front and the other is in the back. Be patient, this drill takes about three weeks to work.


  2. A lot of people say that they can't, everyone can its there mind that doesn't let them, if you were knocked out I could put you in a split, you'd wake up, scream and get up. But do as far a split as you can for 5-10 minutes a day, everyday you can go more, Do.

  3. im at tha length to if u went any further u hips wold brake unless u use a pad or more on ONE foot not 2 or ull rake ur hips
