I can barely brush my teeth

Question

my upper side gums hurt when i do

and i have two cuts/sores

one on the same tooth on both sides

if that makes sense

my mom doesn't take me to the dentist anymore

i don't know what to do

or what's wrong with my gums

i think it might be gingivitis...

does that sound like it to you?

and what should i do...

you need to go to the dentist. or at least to the doctor for your sores.

You probably don't brush very often, so your gums are sensitive to the bristles, making them bleed.

And tell your mom.

If she refuses, tell your school nurse, and she could probably work something.

Well gingivitis doesn't cause "cuts", but the sores could be related.

Whether or not you get to a dentist, make sure you're getting adequate nutrition - in particular that you're getting enough ascorbic acid (vitamin C).

Use mouth wash, avoid sugar & talk 2 your mom about going that is really messed up of her not 2 care about your health, or save up & go yourself!
