I thought for sure he would pick condoleeza rice as a better runnung mate...Now its a sure win for Obama...

I respect your opinion but I'm not so sure it was a mistake.  In my opinion he just secured the female vote as well as the conservative vote.  Palin is extremely conservative and it seems that conservatives are a big swing vote especially if they have voted democratic in the past.  It will be interesting to see how this pans out.

I think it is a huge mistake. Less than 2 years experience as governor of a state with 670,000 people. She has about as much experience as a brand new mayor of a big city. And she is currently under investigation by her legislature for conflicts of interest in firing a state employee. She is 3 years younger than Obama, McCain is 72 and has had cancer twice. She could easily end up president. She kills his experience argument against Obama. And the women who supported Hillary are not going to be swayed. News Flash: They are pro-abortion feminist who aren't going to vote for a pro-lifer.
