I can connect to internet using firefox but unable to through IE. ALL my programs cant connect to server.HELP?

My programs such as AVG cannot get updated as they are not connected to their servers. HELP. I cant connect to internet through Internet explorer 7. HELP!!

So, you can use Firefox?

I would recommend that you set Firefox as your default web browser by going into Firefox and clicking:

tools>options>main>

Then, near the bottom, there should be an option for defaults, with a check box, saying:

"Always check that firefox is the default browser on startup."

Or something along those lines. Press check now (next to the check box, you can fill the checkbox if you so wish), if it is your default web browser, it will tell you, if it isn't, it should also tell you and give you some way of correcting it. After you have done this, your programs should work. If it doesn't, let me know! I'll do what I can!

1.Be sure that you are paying bills in your internet connections.

2.Check your wires and the the protocols

3. Use the diagnose connection problems in the internet explorer

4. disable your internet connection then after five minutes enable it again.

5.Contact proper personnel to solve your problem.

I suggest you to go to internet options>> connection tab>> reset every thing there to default ( proxy, connections)
