I can control my dreams!!!!?

Question

When i dream i am able to control what i do in the dream. Such as one time i was around all these boys and i was able to make myself kiss one. I did it all myself.

Is this called lucid dreaming? I dont really understand the concept because everytime i dream i know i am and i just control it.

So what is lucid dreams really?

Am i lucid dreaming?

Yes you are lucid dreaming, it is actually a really cool way to dream, you know that your dreaming so you get to control how you act, what you do, your use of transpertation and so on. Dreaming is really all your imagination's doing. Dreams depend on what you create in your imagination, only usually we have no control on what happens when we are dreaming. While in lucid dreaming, you decide what you do, wheather it is flying around town, or kissing boys, its what your imagination created and you made it happen, because you knew you were dreaming. It usually starts with a reality check, simply you asking yourself am i dreaming if you touch something and your hand goes right through it, thats how you know you are lucid dreaming. Basically if you controlled what happened in your dream, you were lucid dreaming. :)

hey I knoe just what you mean, Sometimes if you obsess over things,  Or think of things before you go to bed, kind of like when your a little kid, and you watch a scary movie, you have a dream about it, its just in the back of your mind, well I dont know, thats how I always though of it.

Yes it is lucid dreaming. I've done it only twice myself, one where I had wings and flew around the world.

Lucid dreams are dreams where the dreamer is aware of the dreaming state, and is able to control the dream.  Congradulations, you have an amazing skill, that some people train for years to aquire!

Yea you are lucid dreaming.  This is the way I was.  I never studied or tried to learn how to do it.  It just came natural.  Then I asked my husband one day what things he does in his dream and what does he make happen and he had no idea what I was talking about.  I thought everyone could do it.  I guess it isn't as common to just be a lucid dreamer without studying it but I have researched more and that is what it is called.  Once you take control of a dream and know that it is a dream, you are lucid dreaming.
