I can delete photos from my own (group) photo folder, but the system says 'not abilitated' when I try to add.

you may be able to delete your own pictures, but the group settings may be that members cant up load. hopefully the owner will reply to you soon and let you know of the group settings. that would be helpful to know before you send the form below

This sounds like it could be what they call a script error which has to do with how a page comes out or gets set up.  I would recommend getting in touch with a Yahoo Groups customer service representative as well to see if they can help you to figure out what could be causing the problem.
