I can download files, but cannot install them...?

Question

whenever i download a program, it will complete the download, but whenever i go to install the program, it states that it is not a "valid Win32 application". i also cannot open anything that comes in a zip file. this happened once before, and i had downloaded some program recommended by norton anitvirus, but now that program seemed to be gone. anyone know the name of that program that would solve this?

Most of the files you download are zipped. Here is a link to get the Win-zip for free.

At least, now you can unzip and run setup automatically.
