  1. just try not to let it bother you, while your waitng or getting anoyed just think of something else to get it off you mind.

  2. This isn't all that easy and may take some thought and practice.

for example, I was raised with the old South attitude that it was not polite to disagree openly, and those who did disagree were sometimes ganged up on by group-thinkers  -- especially if they were weak or otherwise disadvantaged.  I found my own solution, which isn't recommended.

It is mentally healthy to state your own opinion.  Learn to do that without anger and you are doing well.  You don't need to stuff anything or win an argument.  If the other is continuing to be annoying, end the discussion.  Maintain your dignity, your fair point-of-view; don't fight with someone who has an axe to grind.  Ignorance is often chosen, so rationality is then of little use.  don't go home worrying about what you should have said.  One can LOSE an argument and still be right, of course.                                                                                                 St. Paul said, " When I am weak, then am I strong."

  3. Try to be as reasonable as possible. There are two sides to every story. Think of what is making this person not want to compromise and try to see it through their eyes before getting too frustrated. No need for arguments.
