I have a blue fronted amazon and he doesn't sound like he has trouble breathing. Just like a person would breath. Don't know why?

  5. rofl my parot is breathing help!!!! let it be......i can hear my dad snore at night.....what shall i do!?

thare's a fly on my head....i know quick mar! git the hammer!

haha your parot if fine my friend.

  6. Is it that when it is standing very close to your ears?If it is, it is normal. If it is standing on your shoulders and it just flew alot, it means it is normal.

However it seems to continue for a long time. Bring it to a vet. It might be some kind of illnesses.

  7. I wouldn't take the chance he's an expensive bird and a vet visit is cheap compared to the alternative if there really is something wrong.  Birds don't have the lung system we do so increased respiration noise could very much point to a problem such as chlamydiosis or aspergillosis.  Get him checked out sooner rather than later.  Remember birds mask disease much better than any other domesticated animal.
