  1. yer it is

  2. Ya ,it does!!!

  3. I can hold my breath for 1min 5sec without going under water

  4. It's a sign that you have about a minute to get out of your car when you crash into the lake.

  5. yeah it is

    you should try swimming!

  6. ya, now try swimming laps and holding your breath for that long.

  7. yeah it is a sign of good lung capacity.

  8. Holding breath under water is more of a stunt than a skill.  In Scuba one of the main rules is never to hold your breath under water.  Because you can suffer from Nitrogen Narcosis which can kill.  And even in any type of swimming, be it snorkeling or just enjoying yourself, never forget to exhale while surfacing the deep.

  9. Great....why not try to double it and leave space for me to ask questions.

  10. it's a sign that you have nothing better to do with your life.

  11. ya, that's really good! nice big lung capacity.

  12. Yes it means you have very good lung capacity.

  13. Unlike some of the other people here, I an not as easily impressed. It seems pretty average to me.

Also you don't say if your swimming while doing this or dead man float because if your just floating it vertualy the same is being above water.

If this is something your interested in training hold your breath frequently. Just make sure there's going to be someone there if you're holding it for too long and you pass out. (Which most people don't get to because it hurts to much)

But holding your breath is not necessarily a good sign of lung capacity. Let me explaine something. When you hold your breath their is an increase in Carbon Dioxide in your brain. As it increases, pain increases. It increases because it is the brains way of telling your body that it needs oxygen. Although, the capacity that your body can go without oxygen far passes the pain time when the pain comes. By holding your breath you are training your brain more then your lungs to tell it that you can go a little further be fore you blackout.

The best way to train breath holding is to feel a little more pain every time. More seconds doesn't mean much (can be used as a sign of improvement but that's about it).

Hope it's what you're looking for,

  14. depends on how many you smoke a day
