I get this error...I know it's not my computer settings because my daughter can access her 360 account from the same computer.

Sorry, the page you requested was not found.

Please check the URL for proper spelling and capitalization. If you're having trouble locating a destination on Yahoo!, try visiting the Yahoo! home page or look through a list of Yahoo!'s online services. Also, you may find what you're looking for if you try searching below.

  1. FIRST, consider all the possibilities listed below.

    - If you've never set up your 360 before, then you'll need to activate it first. Log out of all Yahoo services. Go to http://360.yahoo.com and click on the Yellow "Get Started" button to go through the process. If it says your Yahoo ID is already in use, make sure you are completely logged out and that your browser's cache and cookies have been emptied.

    - If you've had any change in your ISP service (like AT&T Yahoo) that was connected to a 360 account, then the change can cause you to lose access. This means that you used a Yahoo address/ID that the ISP gave you, instead of creating the Yahoo ID yourself. Check with those sources to find out the deal.

    - If you've violated Yahoo Terms of Service (http://info.yahoo.com/legal/us/yahoo/uto... ) or 360 Community Guidelines (http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/360/gui... ), then you should check your Yahoo! Mail for a notice. Violations can cause 360 space deletion.

You should be able to do the following, when you've activated your 360:

    - LOG OUT of all Yahoo services

    - Go to http://360.yahoo.com

    - Click the teeny tiny "Sign-in" link on the upper left of the page. After signing in, the page refreshes and you should click on the teeny tiny "Yahoo 360 Home" link on the upper right of the page to get into the 360 space.

NOTE: Make sure that you are using the Yahoo ID that was used to create your 360 space. The usual methods of accessing 360 are no longer working - i.e. via the Yahoo Toolbar and Y!Messenger (with the exception of the Y!360 plug in on version 8.1).

    **************************************...

Now, if you've determined that the above possibilities don''t apply to you or don't work, then you only have five choices:

    1) Try setting up or logging into your 360 space on another computer on a different network - library, your friend's computer...whatever.

    2) Contact CUSTOMER CARE by clicking the button at the bottom of this page: http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/edit/re... and ask them why the 360 part of your Yahoo account is inaccessible, then wait for their response. Although, this is customer service, so you may need to contact them a few times to get a response.  When dealing with customer service, sometimes it's necessary to be persistent. But at least wait a week or two for after contacting them the first time.

    3) Start a new 360 space by creating a new Yahoo account. Log out of all Yahoo services. Go to any Yahoo sign-in page and clicking "Sign Up" on the lower right side (http://mail.yahoo.com , is preferred). Then, once you've created a new account, go to http://360.yahoo.com and start creating your new 360 space from there. Click the BIG YELLOW "Get Started" BUTTON on the far right section of that page!

    4) Wait to see if Y!360 transitioning to another social networking platform in early 2008 will help your situation. Read more about that here: http://blog.360.yahoo.com/product_360 .

    5) Give up on Yahoo! 360 and use another social networking service.

    Good luck!

  2. This happened to me.

The website can be busy or they are doing a update, and some times there is no other reason to give us but that it makes it look like we are doing some thing wrong

So they will come up with things like try again later or there was a error in the URL

Some times you can click on another persons avatar and go to their 360 link and click on it, click ''home'' at the top of the page and this takes you to your page,

    http://360.yahoo.com/login.html?.done=ht...

Try this link  to set up a 360. If you get the same message then take it as their error and not yours, because this is a good link.

  3. I'm sorry TS, I can't actually help you. But just now when I tried to answer your question I got EXACTLY THE SAME error screen as you describe, something I've never seen before. That seems a strange coincidence, and suggests to me that the URL causing the problem is the one for your Yahoo account (as distinct from a URL specific to 360).

I'm able to answer your question now, because I opened the question in a new Internet Explorer window rather than in a New Tab (that was when I got the error screen).

I hope perhaps this information will give you something to think about that will eventually lead to a solution of your problem.
