I can not access the web based set up on my WAP54G LinkSys Wireless Access Point, how can I access it?

I have tried holding down reset button for 30 seconds and then trying to access the web based set up via IP 192.168.1.245 with no luck... Yes I have connected my computer directly to the access point via ethernet cable... Please help....

Hi.

Are you sure that IP address is correct..?

Click on start menu > run.

Type 'cmd' into the box that appears.

When the command prompt comes up, type 'ipconfig', this will list your IP adress information.

The number beside "Default Gateway.." is the number you need to put in your browser.

If it were 192.168.1.3, type:

"http://192.168.1.3"

into your browser.
