I can not find my mercury outboards year?

i can not find it the serial number is A715683 made in canada plz i looked alot someone help

try calling the mercury manufacturer and give that number---to them--or call a mercury dealer ----a marina may have a book on mercury engines and list that number-----what year is the boat?--good chances the engine was bought with the boat---

Most of the A series of serial numbers were made from  1986 to 1990.  Try using the chart at the link below.   If no luck,  call your nearest Mercury dealer, they should be able to look it up for you.
